Very exciting.

As predicted for months by nikonrumors.com, Nikon have just announced the launch of their new D800 which immediately prompted me to go down to the very friendly Jabobs on New Oxford Street and place an order.

Although not as “pro” as my current D3s and D3x it’ has the most amazing sensor – 36MP! That should keep my more demanding clients quiet for a while, and indeed probably crash their computers in the process.
